An opportunity to partner with an exciting apartment ministry in an effort to serve the community and build bridges back to the local church! The opportunities will mostly be relational in nature.

Saturday
we arrive by 9:00 a.m. to throw a Cinco de Mayo BBQ. During the morning hours, we will decorate; begin cooking or fellowship with the youth.

Needs: Food for the BBQ and servers who are 21 years or older

Sunday
They have services at 11:00 a.m. The chaplain would like us to participate in the service by playing some music. After the church service, we have free time to spend with the youth playing games of some group activity.

Needs: any games or game materials and anyone with musical ability

We will be working with Fort Bend CORPS on Saturday and Sunday doing a building project for a home in Richmond, TX. This project will include building a wheelchair ramp, painting, lawn maintenance, some inside remodelling, and neighborhood trash clean up.

We will be doing inside repairs for the Ft. bend Women’s Center. These projects will include painting, minor inside repairs of the facility, and exterior landscape and lawn maintenance.

On Saturday and Sunday we will be working at a home in Four Corners. The project will include roof repair, sewage line repair, exterior home repair, and yard maintenance.

Needs: Experienced workers in sewage plumbing, home remodel, and exterior home repairs. We will need equipment and supplies for this project.

Location: Kids R Kids (Next to Sartartia)

Serve other parents by taking care of their small child(ren) on Saturday May 5! Parents of small children will be blessed with an opportunity to get out and serve their community -- knowing that their children will be cared for in a loving and safe environment at Kids R Kids in New Territory. Take care of children ages 3 years and younger. Two hour shifts (or more if you can!) between 8:30 am and 4 pm. Kids R Kids is located in New Territory, next to Sartartia Middle School at 8202 Homeward Way.
